Many people dread Mondays because they represent a week full of stress and anxiety, but it doesn’t have to be that way! Instead of waking up Monday morning with a knot in your stomach, spend some time on Sunday night “reframing” why Mondays are a great thing.
Mondays provide an opportunity for a “fresh start”. Any bad habits you may have slipped back into on the weekend don’t have to be taken with you into your new week. Sunday nights are a great time to reflect back on your weekend (and the previous week) and figure out what behaviors you would like to change. Remind yourself of the benefits of getting rid of unhealthy habits, and visualize how much easier your week will go if you stick to your goals.
